Start Strong & Spread Investments

The best option for beginners is to spread your money over various types of stock, so that you are ‘widening’ your pool of players. Think of it as you are a store, you have more chances to make money by owning different stock!

The image above is the top 10 rated players as of 09/09/2017, as you can see, it’s dominated by Premier League Stars with 7/10, then it’s filled by Ballon D’or candidates.

There are many benefits to spreading your investment over different players, the first being that it gives you multiple ways to profit, which I will explain below.
Football Index has recently introduced Performance Buzz, which is used alongside Media Buzz, for Traders to earn dividends from their players playing well, or having the spotlight in Media attention.

If you are serious about making some money, you will want to spread your investments over various players, so you have multiple chances of a payout.
There is a payout for best Defender, Midfielder, Forward & Top Player of the Day. You can potentially earn dividends for all of these positions, so long as you hold the players in your portfolio!
They may not win the Buzz dividend every day, but you have far higher chance in making a profit with a varied portfolio, as opposed to going all in with one player, which gives you far less chance of profiting

Log in Friday 13:00-13:15

There’s a great reason for this.

Every Friday, two players are promoted to the tradeable first team. They are promoted in 2 bursts, one at 13:00, the other at 13:15.

The great thing, the entry point for these players is 25 pence!

Presuming you can get on these early, it’s a fantastic way to earn yourself at least £70 per time!

For Example, below Jordi Alba is trading at £1.40 currently, if you would’ve got on at 25p then thats over £100 profit.

Robben is trading at £1.10, again around £80 profit.

Today I was delayed, so ended up making around £50, as i picked them up at around £0.90.
Still, I can’t moan as it’s easy money!

Aswell as two players being promoted, the two lowest value players will be relegated.

If you can get on these player promotions every friday, you can earn yourself a tidy sum each week!

So mark every Friday 13:00-13:15 as busy in your calendar, you’re busy!

Use Social Media to Your Advantage

The Media plays a big part in players prices on Football Index, so ensure you stay ahead of the stories.

Sky Sports News is probably the biggest media outlet, after all they host the transfer deadline day!

There are media outlets out there which like to make it look as if they have Club Sources, which leak information to them. During the above transfer saga, there was lots of media outlets claiming Lukaku had signed for Chelsea BEFORE the transfer window opened, saw the player in club kits having photoshoots etc.

Avoid the false outlets who simply create their own rumour. What you will notice with these, is that over a period of time they post that (example) Lukaku will join Chelsea, the next month they will then say he’s joining Man Utd, then Arsenal, linking him with all top clubs.  They then delete the tweets which were incorrect, retweeting the ‘correct’ one, to gain followers and trust.

The best sources are Bookmakers & Sky Sports News, bookmakers are never wrong they had The OX a 1.4 to join Liverpool at the start of the transfer window!

If you can get at the front of the queue for the transfer news, you can be sure you will be getting a Media Buzz player at the lowest entry price.

As we Saw with Coutinho, media buzz can drag on & on!

Think Twice about Football Index Twitter Accounts

There are lots of profiles on Twitter which chat, promote & elevate their portfolio.

Essentially, they are trying to increase the value of their portfolio, by hoping you buy into their ‘hype’ and drive the prices up. There are a few known pages out there, but I won’t name and shame on this occassion.
It’s the same pages which claim they started with £10 and are now sitting on over £1,000. It’s simply not possible so don’t buy into that falseness! They have made this money from a refer a friend code, those figures quite simply aren’t possible. I am currently at around 30% R.O.I & I am open about my portfolio and track it on my forum.

With that being said, there are many Football Index pages which are very useful, providing detailed analysis, performance statistics, media statistics & even let’s you know what players are set to feature on certain days! I definitely recommend following the analysis pages!

Stick clear of the members who are self promoting their portfolio.

It won’t take you long to separate the members who are out for their own gain, there are members that you can trust.

My rule is, if they ever post ‘—– has fell in price today, time to top up my futures in this player!!!!’, then that’s a cry out for hype, most likely they aren’t buying more of that player, they just want you to!

Stick to the accounts which analyse the players performance.

I’m really into Football Index at the moment, although it’s not ‘Matched Betting’, I can use my football knowledge to turn a profit!

I hope you can take my quick tips today and use them to your advantage, avoiding the users who are building false hype to benefit themselves.
